When it comes to quality control in injection moulding, machine and tool validation is vital to ensuring a stable manufacturing process and avoiding the risk of error. At Biplas we use careful checks to validate our manufacturing process every step of the way, and ensure that we use a continuous and reliable process that consistently produces high quality products every time.
Our Quality Department
Having a quality department is essential when it comes to manufacturing accuracy. We have a quality department consisting of a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Optical Measuring Machine (microscope camera) and Minitab software for dimensional and statistical analysis studies. Put together, this provides the tools to meet customer specifications accurately for design, manufacture, and qualification requirements. Quality accreditations allow customers to be confident in the ability of the manufacturer, and safeguard your final products. Manufacturers must adhere to strict quality control processes to achieve their accreditations, meaning you can trust in their quality of work. At Biplas, we are accredited with the User Requirement Specification (URS) and conduct risk assessments before proceeding with any tooling. We also hold many design qualifications for injection moulding manufacturing.
Design qualifications
For confidence in production, you should opt for a manufacturer that has vast experience, and a wide range of design qualifications. Biplas benefit from the following design qualifications, allowing us to manufacture at our best, every time:
- Component DFM, Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), Mould Tool Design (SOLID WORKS 22), User Requirement Specification (URS) and Risk Assessment
- Installation Qualification
- R & R, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Equipment Environment Facility
- Operational Qualification
- Process Optimisation, Process Capability Analysis, Functional & Dimensional Assessment, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Production Planning Approval Process (PPAP)
- Performance Qualification
- In-Process Testing, Product Training, Batch Traceability, Production Control.
Careful development planning approval processes (PPAP) ensure compliance with production planning and scheduling requirements. Process optimisation is the foundation to any manufacturing process, and should be assessed continually throughout production. Biplas are committed to meeting our customers’ needs in relation to design and manufacturing, and have the facilities, equipment and processes to allow us to create accurate, bespoke products.
Meeting client specifications
Your requirements will be unique to you and your product, meaning it is essential that the manufacturer abide by your needs exactly. This becomes particularly essential for products like car parts or medical devices. You might consider working with a manufacturer that can perform micro-moulding for example, allowing your product to be created as small as 0.1mm. At Biplas, we are committed to ensuring that your specifications are met at every level of production. We test the quality of every product so that you can be confident in its strength, accuracy, and reliability. To ensure complete and seamless validation, we have a Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ).
Part of consistent manufacturing is ensuring that the equipment and machinery is regularly and thoroughly tested for accuracy. We continually audit all equipment and processes to ensure a consistent, quality product, and take customer satisfaction very seriously. This allows us to always be up to date with the latest technology and manufacturing regulations.
Our exceptional customer service and commitment to meeting your specifications is second to none; our staff have years of experience in the injection moulding industry, allowing us to manufacture your product quickly and with exceptional accuracy.
